Depending on the system you select, SmartVent Home Ventilation Systems can be manually adjusted through a touch screen controller, pre-programmed tablet or digital wall controller. Each one gives you ultimate control over your entire system so you can manage the humidity and temperature indoors. We can install all other brands if requested.
How does the Better Vent system work? The Better Vent system takes dry air from your roof space and uses it to displace the damp air in your home. In Winter during the day, the fan unit runs at full speed to make the most of the warm roof space air. At night the air is cooler, so the fan runs at a low speed - just enough to avoid condensation forming. There's no cold draughts - most people never notice it's running. Our automatic smart sensor takes care of everything! In Summer it turns the fan off so you don't have hot air blowing into the house.
